What Causes Pain Around The Navel?

My daughter has been complaining of pain around the belly button. Went to dr to check it out she ordered bloodwork and an ultrasound. Lab results show that her neutrophils were high. She hasn t been sick which is making me worried. Also her protein levels were high. She s schedule to have the ultrasound done this week. Is this something to worry about? Could be something serious?

what was the status of total leukocyte count? were the high as well? is the pain radiating to any other site? does she have fever? is it associated with vomiting? if no is the answer to each of the above questions, then you might not have to worry a lot
