What Causes Pain Around The Waist And Dry Mouth?

Aching all around my waist area. Dry mouth, getting harder to lift foot and then the other foot using a walker. A little out of breath after walking to and from my recliner to the bathroom, the recliner in which I sleep at night and use daily only - comfortable chair. Can t get into a vehicle. SORRY, cannot finish this.

Hi Dear,

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have pain around the waist and dry mouth. Dry mouth i.e Xerostomia could be age related and due to medications as well. Consult dentist once, so that he/she can take complete history and check other symptoms to find what exactly causing dry mouth. Take plenty of fluids and avoid fried food. You should use saliva substitute as t will enhance secretions of saliva and try to breath from nose instead of mouth. You should chew sugar free gum. For waist pain take proper course of NSAIDs and avoid excessive bending and use proper medical equipment after visiting orthopedician.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
