i have been diagnosed with blocked veins below the knees, with no blockage or desease above the knees. i now have ankle pain with no swelling. i did not twist or injure the ankle. also both sides of ankle hurt when touched. could this be from the poor circulation problem.

Hi, the condition of venous thrombosis that you have may lead to these aches and pains and ideally should also lead to swelling around the ankles. What treatment have you been advised? I hope you are wearing compression stockings till the knee and are on some anti-coagulant drugs, either Warfarin or Acitrom or Heparin injections. Either way do continue the treatment for six months for good results and you should be fine. For your pain you can take Cap Tramadol 50mg upto twice daily. For your vein blockage, you can also take Tab Daflon to improve your condition. Take care and feel free to ask any more queries about your condition.
