General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome.

Yes, conditions like hyperacidity have found to cause headaches and so I would strongly recommend correction of the hyperacidic state.

Drugs like omeprazole, pantoprazole help in reducing acid production. Syrup like sucralfate help in protecting the inner gastric mucosa and surgery to help reduce acid production will be a last resort. You can also avoid smoking, avoid alcohol, drink plenty of water, avoid stress, avoid spicy/fatty/oily/fried food, avoid carbonated drinks, avoid caffeine, etc.

Best wishes.
