What Causes Pain At The Incision Site In The Abdominal Area Post Tubal Pregnancy?
hi, i recently had an ectopic pregnancy tubal remove 2 months ago. the past week i ve been experiencing some pain in the suture site area, ive experienced even more today. after eating a salad today i had these urgent pain in my belly, and the feeling as if i needed to have a bowel movement or puke along with sweating and feeling lightheaded. the pain stopped after three minutes, i feel weak and cold. i am worried because this is similar to when i was admitted to the hospital except it was way worst. by the way i work as a nurse aide but on light duty. do you think this is urgent or an internal bleed??
Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor services. I have read your query and here is my advise.
* Pain at the stitch site can be from stretching of fascia tissue or suture knot pulling the subcutaneous skin layers and absolutely not of internal bleeding.
Though primary relief can be obtained with analgesic medications, I would request a consultation with your surgeon for further guidelines as you may require ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis.
Wish you best recovery. Regards.
