Hi, A swelling/lesion on inner side of left butt cheek, that hurts & the pain being up to the tip of tail bone.It also has scanty discharge- The symptoms are disturbing. I understand your concern. Let us see the probable conditions which can produce such symptoms. It could be- - A hair root infection,which has turned to a boil ,it s inflamed,painful & has discharge .Simple cleaning of the area along with antibiotics& anti inflammatory drugs should heal it within a weeks time. - Another possibility which concerns me is peri anal abscess. This condition is usually accompanied by constipation ,resulting in injury to anal tissue,infection & abscess. such abscess opens up on skin with pus discharge. fever,pain ,inflammation are seen. & the worst part is it may turn in an ano -rectal fistula.So it needs to be drained with help of a surgeon. I hope, you got the point I want to stress. In present condition of yours it s always better to be more careful .Consult a surgeon, He will examine you ,advice few investigations if needful ( CT scan/MRI) & will prescribe you medicines OR advice you for surgical drainage of the abscess,if it s ano- rectal abscess,send the exudate for bacterial examination & then prescribe exact medicine for complete cure.
