What Causes Pain Behind Ear Lobe And Reddish Purple Lump?

Hi, I got my ears pierced about 2 months ago, but I am still having problems. They hurt when I move them around and behind my ear lobe, in the crease behind the ear, I have a soft reddish purple lump. Obviously I am thinking infection, but my mom thinks it may just be because they are poking me when I sleep. What is wrong with my ears?

Hi,
From history it seems that there might be having infection following ear piercing.
Due to constant irritation of ear ring might lead to infection and enlarged post auricular lymph node.
go for one course of antibiotic medicine for 3 days.
Clean the part and apply antibiotic cream locally.
If problem persisted then remove ear ring and continue applying cream.
Ok and take care.
