What Causes Pain Behind Knee Causing Difficult To Bend?

I have pain behind my knee. It seems to be less painful when I m up and walking around, but when I get up from a sitting position, I limp for quite a bit until it stretches out again. I am also unable to sit and bend my leg without some discomfort.

Hello and thank you for the question!
There are different causes of knee pain.1.Ligament injuries, especialy the injury of anterior cruciate ligament).2.Meniscus injuries(medial and lateral).3.Medical conditions such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, which is an autoimmune condition that affect any joint of the body;Osteoarthritis, which is a wearing down of cartilage;Tendinitis of patella etc.Anyway i would advice you to consult a doctor to examinate your knee by checking for stability of the ligaments, and evaluating for any tenderness and swelling. An X RAY examination and a blood exam can help the diagnoze.
Thank you and best regards!
