What Causes Pain Behind The Ankles?

Good Afternoon, I ve had pain in the back of my ankle for some time now. Saw a podiatrist, she gave me 2 rounds of a Medrol pack, and Mobic. It helped for a bit then the pain came back again. I only way I can explain the pain is like a shopping cart hit the back of your ankle. I have pain and swelling. I ve been off my flats for weeks and only wearing platform shoes but the minute I put on a flat shoe, the pain is back. I also did 4 weeks of PT. Can you help?

Hello,

You should wear a silicone heel . do you have diabetes ? This could be plantar fasciitis also . What about the scan or any X-ray of the foot . I would like to see that also .And please continue the physiotherapy with the silicone heel.
