Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Your symptoms could be due to cervical muscle muscle spasm, nerve compression in cervical region. I would suggest to consult orthopedics surgeon and undergo clinical examination, neck x-ray and MRI if needed to rule out the cause.
You can take following prescribed medicines for next 7 to 10 days: - Tablet Etoricoxib + Thiocolchicoside - Tablet Pregabalin - Tablet Ranitidine - Tablet methylcobalamine - Application of Diclofenac (Volini) gel twice daily - Warm pad application - Wear Soft cervical collar
Do neck exercise after the pain is subsided according to physiotherapist and that will be helpful. Do not keep neck in the same position for a long time.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Sagar
