What Causes Pain Below A Surgical Incision Site?

I m 5 weeks post op for a total abdominal hysterectomy. I ve been experiencing sharp pains on left side below incision but I ve also ticked my urine is cloudy and smells horribly. I ve had no bleeding and the vaginal cuff stitches haven t come out to my knowledge. Is it the stitches or could I have a UTI?

Hi I think you should consult your doctor for proper examination. It can be due to some urine infections also. Get a urine routine and microscopy and culture done to see if there is any infection or not. You may need some antibiotic according to the culture report. Hope it helps.
