My neighbor has the following symptoms. she is 64, no med, never been sick, hurt or in the hospital, is not a wimp. she called me as I am her friend and former EMS Her blood pressure was 150 over 90 and 3 times in the last month including 30 minutes ago she gets a pain in just below her rib cage, upper stomach area. Her symptoms are as follows: Pain in the diaprahm Sweaty Pain radiates upward and outward,Pain causes you to catch your breath Level of Pain – 7-8,Comes on fast – fades away fast. what could it be? Thanks for the question.Considering age and Blood pressure reading it is better to take a ECG to rule out cardiac causes of chest pain.Usually non cardiac pain doesnot associated with sweating & nor catch the breath,so immediately go for evaluation to rule out angina.wish you a good health
