Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Two days ago I went to bed with a slight twinge in the lower left of my back just below my ribs. The pain is not going away. Sometimes even my stomach hurts, and a loss of appetite. I have tried back ache med and also have drank lots of water and cranberry juice. Nothing is helping even pain killers. What could it possibly be.
Hi there. I have carefully gone through your case and in my expert opinion pain in this area is either due to Constipation/worm infestation and infection of bowels, or muscular spasm which is more important because u have not mentioned constipation or fever. Also as u have not mentioned in history of any urinary issues so kidney involvement isn't so likely. Take Nuberol forte 1 tablet 2times for 7days. Do stretch exercises of back but in limits. Massage with any topical pain killer will help. If it doesn't go away then go straight away to ur physician who may go for investigations and proper diagnosis. May be its disc herniation. CT/MRI can be advised and treatment plan goes accordingly. Have a good time and get well soon.
