What Causes Pain Below The Breast During Post Pregnancy?
Hello doctor, my pain first starts below my breast at the center and then it goes at the back and it only happens at night.. I am in my post pregnancy, I did visit my doc howevr she told me it s lack of calcium but I do not think so cuz when I pass gas I feel some kind of relief.. Please help as I am unable to sleep at night.

HI, Thanks for your query. I understand your concern. The pain in upper abdomen ( below chest ) transferring to back in sleeping posture.. is due to digestive disturbances caused by pregnancy hormones. The gas thus produced shifts under diaphragm so it pains up in front & back. Avoid sleeping immediately after eating. have a light walk before sleeping / avoid heavy food & over eating. Eat small & multiple servings.. last eating being 2 hours before going to bed. Add salads/ fruits to each serving & drink 10 -12 glasses of water in a day. / Add digestive enzymes if you have constipation, belching, bloating.This would improve your digestion & the pain bothering you would be controlled. Thanks.
