What Causes Pain Below The Breast Radiating To The Back?

Hello Sir, My wife 55 years having pain for the last 4 days on chest below breast and to the left of sternum bottom extending down for about 3 inches and extending below the arms and to the entire back with a poking sensation on the left back. Doctor along with livomin and aciloc had advised meftal spas forte if really required. does meftal have any side harmful effects. Is it for muscular pain ?

Hello,

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.
Most probably it will be due to ligament or tendon related problem.
If symptoms persists better to consult an orthopedician and plan for an MRI scan.
