What Causes Pain Below The Navel On Intake Of Food?
Hello, I recently went to the emergency room because I was having pain around my belly button and noticed my innie was turning into an outie. The pain went away the next day when I went to the er but I was still having a weird sensation. They felt my stomach and did blood work and they sent me home saying everything is normal. When i eat it gives me a sour stomach for a little bit but goes away soon after. I feel like its not normal I know my body well and there is something wrong. I think its a hernia. I don t work out but have been lifting 40lb bags of pellets when I need to use my pellet stove. I just want a second opinion and see where I should go with all this.

Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like gastritis , IBS , acid reflux or ulcers . I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination. Doctor may order stool test , endoscopy or ultrasound . Doctor may prescribe H2 blockers , proton pump inhibitor , antibiotics like ornidazole along with anti inflammatory . For now eat light and non spicy , eat small and frequent meals and take antacid after every meal . Doctor may also prescribe drug like sucralfate for healing of lining .
