What Causes Pain Below The Rib Cage Along With Frequent Bowel Movements?

After eating I am having to go to the bathroom almost immediatly or within a short time after eating. This has been going to for a couple months now. It does not seem like it is specific to a certain type of food? I have also been experiencing discomfort right below my rib cage on the right side of my body, this pain has some what gone away in the last couple weeks but does still come and go.
