General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Likely to be due to some sort of ligament sprain or strain involving upper abdomen muscles.

Primary relief with heating pad application, local analgesic spray, good analgesic as Aleve or else with antacid after foods; later consult your doc as per the requirement.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Purva Patel, General & Family Physician
