What Causes Pain Below The Rib Cage Radiating To The Back?

i have great pain in my bottom 2 right side rib area at the bottom and runs to my back. I have had all my organs tested to find that my gallbladder,liver,pancrea,stomach, kidneys,colon, and I do not have appendixs, are in top shape, I do have gastristous. over the counter meds to no touch the pain. My heart is healthy, I am on no medications at all, my blood pressure is that of a 38 year old, and I am 65 years of age.

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have pain below the rib cage radiating to the back . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like liver damage , kidney stone , kidney infection , pancreatitis , angina , pinched nerve or gastric problem . I would suggest you to consult nephrologist for proper diagnosis . Doctor may order kidney function test , CT scan or ultrasound . Doctor may refer you to gastroenterologist for liver or pancreas problem or cardiologist for angina . For now eat light , quit drinking , take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain and take proper rest . Apply warm compresses to rib cage and back .
