Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
For three days I ve had pain just below my sternum that seems related to indigestion. It produces waves of pain in my shoulder. If I try to belch it doesn t come out it stays in my chest and causes pain. At times I feel fine then the pain starts up again...usually after I eat.
Hi I have gone through the question and understand your concern According to me you are suffering from severe acidity , which usually presents as pain and burning sensations behind the sternum. I would advice you to take gelusil syrup half an hour prior to the meal and you can take capsule like Rabeprazole every day morning empty stomach. Hope this was of help Let me know if you have other queries Thank you
