What Causes Pain Between Belly Button And Thighs With Extreme Rectal Pain?

I have been having pain everywhere between my belly button to the top of my thighs. The pain seems to be more in my lower back and rectal area. My stomach gets sick after the back and rectal pain get extreme. Nothing I do seems to help. Any idea what this could be? It started with discomfort about 8 days ago and each day has gotten worse.

Hi,

The pain you are experiencing in your lower abdomen, lower back, and rectal area could be caused by a variety of factors, including gastrointestinal issues, urinary tract infections, gynecological problems, or musculoskeletal conditions.

One possible cause of the pain in the rectal area is an anal fissure, which is a small tear or cut in the lining of the anus. Other potential causes of rectal pain include hemorrhoids, proctitis (inflammation of the rectum), or anal abscesses.

Pain in the lower abdomen can be caused by gastrointestinal conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease, diverticulitis, or constipation. Gynecological issues such as endometriosis, ovarian cysts, or uterine fibroids can also cause lower abdominal pain.

Urinary tract infections, kidney stones, or bladder infections can cause pain in the lower abdomen and lower back. It is recommended that you seek medical attention to determine the cause of your symptoms. Your doctor can perform a physical examination and order diagnostic tests such as blood tests, ultrasound, CT scans, or MRI to determine the underlying cause of the pain.

Treatment options may vary depending on the underlying cause of the pain but may include medication, lifestyle changes, or surgical intervention. It is important to seek medical attention promptly if your symptoms are severe or if they worsen over time.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
