What Causes Pain Between The Jaw And Collar Bone After Stopping Levothyroxin?

Hello- I had stopped my Levothyroxin for about 5-6 days due to refill issues. That very first night my left side of my neck started hurting--between my jaw and collar bone a achy feeling that hurt more into ear when I swallowed and only at night when lying down-heating pad helped-I assumed it was from thyroid-however I have been back on the meds for 4 days now-and it still is hurting pretty bad---any clues as to why?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, the symptoms of neck pain, and surrounding region may not be due to thyroid medicine or thyroid dysfunction it self, but it could be muscular pain, it is advisable to keep continue the medicine given for thyroid disease, for muscular pain you can try Tab Ibuprofen 200mg three times in day hope this information helps.
