What Causes Pain During Defecation And Large Stool?
painful bowel movements. stool sometime very LARGE, pluges up the toilet. My eating habets are very irrigular. Iam m/w/71 5ft.11in 190 lbs (live alone hi BP, COPD I gained 40+ lbs due to the meds I drink every day, psa 4ish, enlarged prostrate}. Today I am starting a workout program, walking, bowfles, weights, elliptical trainer. GOT any ideas webmd? Is this a free service from webmd?

This is caused by eating habits that are low in fiber, resulting in some amount of constipation. Along with straining to push stools, you end up developing minor tears.
Additionally, the pain further causes constipation. I would advise you to increase the consumption of fibers in the form of fruits and green vegetables.
Additionally, you could take a stool softener to help loosen your stool. Weight loss would definitely help.
