Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My child s 16 days old. She passes stool once 2 in days Semi solid and cries a lot while passing stool. Went to lead he gave aristozyme 5 drops 3 times daily. After giving for one day she makes watery stool and not crying. How long should I continue this medicine.
You should continue the medicine till the prescribed number of days, usually, clinical advice is for 7 days extending Up to 14 days. Also, the child is just 16 days old that means the child is on breast feeding.
So you have to monitor your diet and keep yourself active. If you facing any constipation issues the child will too face it.
So you shouldn't have any infection or other abnormalities like constipation so the child can also avoid it.
I hope you are getting the point since the child is dependent on you it's a must that you shouldn't face any physiological abnormalities for the betterment of the child.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
