What Causes Pain During Intercourse Followed By Vaginal Bleeding Post Hysterectomy?
Hello! I had a hysterectomy on 10-19-2016. I recover well and was released by my doctor after an 8 week recovery on 12-11-16. When my husband and I had sex tonight, I bled fresh red blood. He could feel something and at one point I was in a lot of pain. Is it normal?

Hello,
Your symptoms seem to be related to dryness in the vaginal area.
After hysterectomy the level of estrogen change and cause changes in the entire body.
I would recommend you to use moisturizing creams to avoid dryness.
You can also use topical estrogen therapy.
