What Causes Pain During Motion When Diagnosed With Diarrhea?

A10 days ago I fhad diarrhea. Halfway through eliminating it turned to clear mucus. I eliminated clear mucus for about 2 days. I had pain and vomiting only while using the restroom. My stool was back to normal until yesterday where i had extreme diarrhea. This morning my feces was firm again but the coloring is black and coated with mucus

Hi,
Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
The pain during passing motion while having diarrhea is because the cause of diarrhea is infection ( bacterial/ viral/ amoebic ) .. which causes inflammation of intestines & pain & colic when bowels try to pass motion ( mass peristalsis)
Mucus is created due to irritation/ inflammation of bowels.
Vomiting follows severe pain,
Black firm stool indicate some bleeding in bowels ( because of nfection & inflammation )
* you should get pathological test of stools with culture & sensitivity if advised by your doctor. The specific medicines advised after this would relieve you.
- Take plenty of oral fluids with salt & sugar/ ORS.
