What Causes Pain During Period Despite Taking Duphaston?

Hi Sir/Madem, My wife was taken DUPHASTON tablets for 14 days(16 to 30 Day) but in this period she getting pain. on that monthe period was 7 days late . but next month she was not taken the this tables but she got a pain in 12 day and 13 day. this month also she getting pain 12 day. today 12 day. Why are came pain ? please tell me

Hello,
Thanks for letting us know your health concern. Pain during mid-cycle is due to ovulation. Adhesions of the pelvis can also be a cause. Endometriosis is also to be thought of; however, in this case, pain is seen towards the onset of the period. If pain is absent while taking the medication, please continue with it while the cause is detected and treatment planned. Ovulation may need to be suppressed in extreme case. Please get further management from your health care provider. Take care.
