What Causes Pain During Periods?

Hi, I'm 15, last week i was dumped by my boyfriend which has caused me to get stomache aches related to stress. They haven't gone away. My period came 3 days ago and the inflammation is making me feel even worse. The feeling in my stomache is almost like extremely vicious butterflies, almost a bad nervous feeling, yet I am not nervous..? Is there any way I can make it feel better?
