What Causes Pain During Urination And Abdominal Discomfort?

It feels like I have an obstruction in my vaginal canal, I discovered this today. I also have been experiencing some pain when I urinate, but I do not have a urinary tract infection, I had this checked. I also have discomfort in the vaginal area and a feeling of fullness in my lower abdomen. This has been going on for some time now, but is getting worse. I saw a urologist 18 months ago thinking it was a urinary tract infection, but he said no. Do you have any suggestions?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to urinary tract infection. For further assessment, you may require urine analysis, culture sensitivity, complete hemogram after physician consultation. For pain, you can take tablet acetaminophen. Keep your self hydrated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
