What Causes Pain During Urination Post An Intercourse?

Hi, I m 18 and I lost my virginity 3 days ago. We didn t use condoms and I m not on any birth control. The problem now it that I ve been feeling a very sharp pain whenever I try to pee and I also saw some blood from my vagina. I want to know if I m pregnant though my boyfriend has assumed me that I cannot be since he didn t cum in me. Thank you

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If you were sexually active only 3 days ago it is very early to know if you are pregnant or not and the symptoms you are having cannot be due to pregnancy.
If your periods are later than their due date you will need to have a urinary test. Normally, a urinary pregnancy test becomes positive and symptoms from pregnancy start soon after a missed period which is generally around two weeks after conception (the time when a woman conceives).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
