What Causes Pain Even After Removing Gall Bladder?

I had my gallbladder removed about 4 months ago but I'm still experiencing some sharp pains. It's rarely severe but when it is, it only lasts about half a minute or so. Otherwise, it's not nearly as bad. Could it be just a nerve or could it be something more serious?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi and welcome to HCM. Thank you for your query.
It may be caused by some complications of surgery and this should be ruled out by doing ultrasound and checking inflammatory markers. In mosct cases it can be caused by intraabdominal abscess or postcholecystectomy syndrome. It should be treted with antibiotics in most cases and by dietary changes.
Wish you good health. Regards
