What Causes Pain From The Knees To The Ankles After Total Knee Replacement?

Recently (5/5 wks post op) had a total knee replacement with both thigh block and spinal block. I was not conscious when the spinal was given. I am left with severe nerve pain and numb feeling from my knee to ankle on inside of my leg and top of shin. Is this most likely from the tourniquet? I had an EMG which proved inconclusive (I am still quite swollen).
