What Causes Pain In Abdomen Post Intercourse?

Hi I am 30 yr old and have been off the pill since April Trying for a baby no luck yet. I am finding when having sex I have pains to my left side and unsure what it could be. I had cervical cancer last Nov but had them burnt off and got the all clear thankfully but could this be a problem? Thanks for your time

The pain may be related to the problems with the cervix but may also be related to the ovaries as well eg cyst . Cysts are not usually cancerous or dangerous, can cause pain in some persons.

It would be best to see your doctor for an assessment which would include physical examination and possible an ultrasound of the pelvis
