What Causes Pain In Abdomen Post Treatment For Swelling In Fallopian Tube?

Hi doctor, on tuesday I went to consult and the Dr did an ultrasound scan. After he told me that my womb is okay,just that my left side tube is swollen. He gave me treatment,with antibiotics. But now I m having pains on the left side. What is causing or how can I treat it?

Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to salpingitis which is an inflammation of the fallopian tube. I see that you have already taken antibiotics to treat the infection and I recommend using them as prescribed by your doctor. I recommend to take an anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain and inflammation.
