What Causes Pain In Arm With Pins And Needles?

Please type your query here...I am experiencing a very painful left arm and pins and needles, I feel as if this is coming from my back shoulder area as if i put my chin against my chest I feel something pull around the shoulder blade area but I cannot pinpoint it. I am taking paracetamol extra and ibuprofen along with voltarol being rubbed in and nothing is working
