What Causes Pain In Arms?

Hi there, I have had pain in my right arm starting two weeks ago today. It started with dull muscle pain in my upper arm and has progressed over the two weeks as dull to severe pain from my shoulder to my fingertips. It is the worst when i sleep, i wake up several times a night with severe pain where i am yelling. Also with the pain, is numbness and tingling. During the day it still aches but is manageable. I do not have insurance so haven't gone to the doctor, hoping it will go away on it's own.
