What Causes Pain In Back After An Injury?

What is wrong with my back? I can lean back in my chair and when i try to it hurts. Kind of like a throbbing pain. I have recently go hurt on a sledding accident and am worried. The pain is coming from the center of my back on both sides of my spine especially. Do you know what might be wrong?
