What Causes Pain In Ball Of Foot Radiating To The Toes?

From what I read, I may have Mortons Neuroma. I only have the symptoms when I am barefoot and am on a hard surface like the tile in my bathroom. I have to hit it just right but it will send a pain from the ball of my foot into my last three toes. The pain is intense. I do not have that sensation any other time.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Your symptoms seem to be related to metatarsalgia.
It may be caused by medical conditions such as arthritis, poor circulation, pinching of the nerves between the toes, posture problems.
I suggest to do an xray of the foot for further evaluation.
Meanwhile, I suggest using anti inflammatory medication such as Acetominophen for pain relieve.
I also suggest using cold compresses for local application.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
