What Causes Pain In Base Of Neck, Stiffness And Dizziness?

hello...I have had a painful "base of neck" stiffness with dizziness followed by a flow of what I believe to be blood collected between skull and scalp (between) and can feel something has changed over a day. Now I feel better, not as dizzy but there is fluid there with some pain.
