What Causes Pain In Between Shoulder Blades And Stomach?

My back was just rubbed and i got this burning feeling which I have had before but on top of the shoulders? I have been having a lot of pain in between the shoulder blades and stomach with more on the left side? I had my gallbladder out last year too....
