What Causes Pain In Between The Shoulder And Elbow?

Pain in arm between the shoulder and elbow. Was lifting heavy wood paneling and have had pain since. I do have a knot in muscle that is sore when I use arm and sore to rub. I did see a doctor and he put me on Vimova. I have took this for 5 weeks with little improvement. There was no test ran at doctor visit.

Hi,

It can be a simple musculoskeletal pain, you can take analgesics like Acetaminophen or Diclofenac for pain relief. Apply ice packs and avoid strenuous physical exertion. Generally, the symptoms will settle in few days.

If symptoms persist for long even after taking common analgesics better to consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
