What Causes Pain In Between The Shoulders?

I have pain in my back between my shoulders and more so near my right shoulder blade. It is tender to touch and is sometimes a sharp pain, more so when I am in the heavier outside air, and my breathing is harder and I feel really weak. Slight cough from time to time with mucous, grayish. Travels around my chest under my arm and ribcage.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to pneumonia. I suggest that do a chest X-ray to confirm the diagnosis.

Meanwhile, I suggest using a mucolytic for the cough. I also suggest using anti-inflammatory medication to treat symptoms such as Ibuprofen.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
