What Causes Pain In Biceps After Golfing?

I did a good amount of curls one afternoon. Only using 5lbs. The next day while golfing. I got a pain in my bicep. Just above the bend at the elbow. Three days later I developed a black & blue area on my bicep. Not sure what to do? I am 72 years old.

hello
welcome to HCM.
i appreciate your concern.
from your history it seems to be a sprain in the biceps muscle.
dont worry,
i shall advise you to take NSAID+THIOCOLCHICOSIDE combination bd for 5 days with SOME PPI.
take TRYPSIN CHYMOTRIPSIM combination tablets tds for 5 days.
give complete rest to hand.
cold compress.dont massage.
still if the symptom continues and there is a progressive swelling attend emergency.
hope this is helpful.
post more queries and i shall be happy to help.
regards.
