What Causes Pain In Big Toe After Recovering From Ankle Fracture?

I had a Saltar Harris fracture in my left ankle and i wore a boot for a month and had it taken off 2 weeks ago. It felt weird at first but it got better. Yesterday I was playing basketball with my one friend, not going to rough, but when i put pressure on my big toe it began to hurt. Now when i put pressure on it, I feel a sharp pain. When I feel my foot and i press near my big toe with my hand i feel a pain. Would you happen to know what is going on? ^_^
