Hi! A few days ago I was walking down the stairs, and suddenly felt like I had a Charlie Horse in my left calf muscle. It was very painful, but didn t continue the cramping effect like a CH. It was very painful to walk on though, and I had to take the steps one at a time. I have continued walking short distances, and the pain is gradually doing much better. My ankle is a bit swollen, but there is no discoloration of the leg. I am 66 years old, active, about 10-15 pounds overweight and no history of vascular or heart problems.
