What Causes Pain In Cervix Area When On An Old IUD?
I have a 10 year iud. I cannot feel the strings. I am sure it did not get expelled. I feel pain in my cervix area almost like poking inside with a bit of pressure. It is different than regular cramps. When i first tried checking the strings there was an amount of blood. When i checked again the bleeding subsized but still cannot find strings.

Cervical pain with bleeding can be due to any infection.
Hence you should see your gynecologist for a proper genital examination to determine the reason of your signs and symptoms you have .
During examination your gynecologist will confirm and if string of IUD is there or not and if you will have an infection better is to remove IUD from your body.
