What Causes Pain In Chest Along With Severe Night Sweats?

yes,my name is sabrina smith, i have been haveing servire night sweats all the time,and chest pains in my upper left side chest and ribs.i have head achs also weekness sometimes i feel like im going to pass out,dont sleep at night very good.i have been to my family dr,and he hasnt found out anything. do i needto go to another dr,and who should i go to?i need to find out what is causeing all this, and what i need to do for it. this is my e-mail adress / YYYY@YYYY

I want to know -
1) Your age.
2) Presence of diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol problem, heart disease.
3) Habits like smoking.
4) Family history heart disease.
5) Associated symptoms like fever, cough, cold, breathing difficulty, recent weight loss, recent changes in apatite.

There might be following possibilities in your case-
1) Heart disease.
2) Chronic infections like tuberculosis (TB).

Though rare possibility malignancy must be ruled out.

You should consult your doctor and get done detailed clinical examination.
Following investigations may help in making diagnosis-
1) ECG
2) Cardiac enzymes like Trop T/I, CPK-MB.
3) 2DEcho of heart.
4) Ultrasound of abdomen and pelvis.
5) Xray chest.
6) Blood tests like complete blood count, peripheral blood smear, kidney and liver function test, ESR.
7) Urine examination for infection.

Depending on these test results further evaluation may needed.
