What Causes Pain In Chest And Arm While Coughing?

My wife has had a cold for the past 7 days with coughing, chills, sweats, sinus congestion and sinus swelling. She has been getting better and today when she was coughing she get sharp pains in her chest that carried into her right arm, the pain was so great it made her double over

Chest pain with history of cough could be due to muscular stretch. But better to get examined to rule out any cardiac problems, consult your doctor.
