What Causes Pain In Chest And Shoulders?

i just left the Er, for heart palpitations, they did EKG and blood work all was good except for low potassium, i have had sharp pains in right shoulder blade coming out my chest off and on, bloated and full of gas, but could a bad gull bladder be the cause of low potassium, i do not drink or do drugs

Hello welcome to HCM. I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Right shoulder pain along with bloating sensations mostly give us idea that you have more of gas and acidity trouble.its called acid reflux. Secondly some gall bladder pathology can also give rise to right shoulder pain with bloating sensations.

So, kindly go for sonography of abdomen(USG abdomen) and rule out gall bladder disease. It will rule out any other diseases of abdomen also.

You can take Rabeprazole plus levosulpride combination daily for 2 weeks. But a written prescription is required to take this medicine. So kindly ask your doctor regarding that.

Avoid spicy food and food causing gaseous problem. Low potassium needs further evaluation actually. Gall bladder pathology will not cause low potassium. However less then 3.5 meq of potassium persistently should be evaluated.
