What Causes Pain In Chest And Throat Congestion?

i have pain in my chest that goes somewhat up to my throat,when i swallow it feels like i have alot of phlegm in my throat.the pain comes on really strong and then subsides,only to come back again,it is very painful to the touch between my chest.when i deep inhale it hurts

Hello,

Pain in the chest may be due to acid reflux or esophagitis or bronchitis or cardiac pain. But in your case it may be respiratory in origin probably. Use tablet Pantaprazole before breakfast for one week. Use tablet amoxicillin and Clavulinic acid 625 mg (if you're not allergic) for five days. If no improvement please consult with your physician he will take chest X-ray and ECG then treat you accordingly.
